The catch-and-release fishing pond will offer trout fishing for kids 12 and younger. It’s a great way to introduce them to the sport of fishing. New Orleans will host the International WorkBoat Show this December. This is the largest commercial marine tradeshow in North America serving people and businesses working on the coastal, inland and offshore waters. 1,000 companies will display products and services for commercial vessels and the companies that build, service and operate them. Boats, boats, and more boats will be coming to Liberty State Park for the Liberty Boat Show in October. If you enjoy being on the water then you won’t want to miss this 7th annual showing featuring all of the best names in boating. Boats will be on the land and in the water for your viewing. There will be something for everyone with dock after dock of powerboats from 16’ through 66’ as well as a beautiful landscape for the on-land portions of the show.

Liberty Landing Marina boasts spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline as you browse through a first class 600 slip marina just seconds off of the Hudson River. For the first time in its history, the New York National Boat Show will take place in advance of the holidays from December 13-21, 2008, during the height of the holiday shopping season. The world’s first and longest-running boat show, it is a one-stop resource for boating information and advice. Boating experts will be on hand to answer all of your questions and direct you the right boat for years of enjoyment. This year’s show will feature more than 1,000 of the newest and best in luxury motor yachts, cruising yachts, sport fishers, bass boats, performance boats, pontoon boats, and personal water craft, as well as fishing gear, engines, and marine accessories.

The Green Boating Zone will feature West Marine’s Go Green trade show display with “10 Green Boating Tips” to help boaters minimize their impact on the environment.
