			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>New Horizons . . . New Destinations . . . New Discoveries is the theme for the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Aerospace Systems Conference (ASC) to take place at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel in Los Angeles, February 5-10, 2010. Nearly three years in the planning, the NSBE-ASC is ready to make history with this ground breaking technical conference that rivals AIAA and IEEE to recognize African-American impacts and contributions to the Aerospace and Aviation industries.</p>
<p>The theme of the conference refers to the great spirit of adventure that lies within the aerospace industry and the constant opportunity to fly higher, explore further, and create that which has never been before. Opportunities abound in areas of new aircraft, upgrades to existing aircraft, and space missions. This conference expects to draw over 500 of the best minds in aerospace including engineers, scientists, managers and professors to exchange technical ideas, showcase companies’ new developments, and share best practices.</p>
<p>NSBE-ASC will feature technical tours, youth educational outreach, technical workshops and training, a golf tournament, exhibitor trade show, and nightly entertainment including Aviation and Space Movies, Mardi Gras on the Moon, Hailing Frequencies, and more.</p>
<p>Panel discussions and technical paper presentations will explore innovative developments in Aerospace and Aviation. Some of the subjects to be discussed include:</p>

<p>The NSBE-ASC will honor individuals that have made outstanding contributions to the aerospace industry during the Celestial Torch Awards. This is NSBE’s first industry specific recognition event that will serve as a complement to NSBE’s highest awards program, the Golden Torch Awards.</p>

This will be your one-stop shopping Mecca for helicopters and related products. <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-size: small; font-family: Times New Roman;">Heli Expo 2009 will showcase helicopters for every mission, engines, avionics and instruments, completions and modifications, computer software, insurance, finance, leasing, heliports, mechanic and pilot training, uniforms, helmets, safety clothing, components, parts, accessories, and related products and services for the helicopter industry.</span></p>

Last year’s convention ranked 8<sup>th</sup> among U.S. trade shows. NBAA2008 is expected to draw more than 30,000 attendees from around the world with more than 1,000 exhibitors. </span><span style="Times New Roman;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="Times New Roman;">The Orange County Convention Center will host indoor <a href="http://www.exhibitdeal.com" target="_blank">trade show displays</a> and information sessions while the Orlando Executive Airport will provide space for over 100 state-of-the-art aircraft for viewing.</span><span style="Times New Roman;"> </span></p>
