Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Convention Center is the place to be for all of those golf enthusiasts looking for fun, education, training, and products. This year’s expo will be packed with programs and events including the 3rd Annual Demo Day, the 4th Annual Golf Tournament, an opening night industry reception at House of Blues, Teaching and Training Pavilion, show floor presentations, and much more. Some 300 golf vendors will be showcasing the latest products. 20 educational and professional development seminars will be offered at no cost.

A new golf tournament exclusively for PGA Professionals, the PGA Fall Expo $25,000 Pro Challenge, will feature a first place prize of $10,000, a second place prize of $3,000 and third place prize of $1,000 with a pay out to 50% of the field. This tournament will be staged simultaneously with the PGA Fall Expo Amateur Shoot-Out at the award-winning Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort.

The Expo floor will be tailored to put PGA Professionals and golf retailers at the center of the buying action. All buyer programs as well as the education conference, will take place directly on the show floor. There will be a central business networking platform which will provide a hub to two new education stages and new exhibitor segmentation groupings. Education seminars, interactive product demonstrations and professional networking events will all serve to bring traffic to the show floor. The all-new indoor Golf Performance & Training Center will provide attendees with the opportunity to personally test equipment and training aids. A new pavilion will display new golf merchandise and offer convenient one-stop shopping and comparison of the industry’s latest equipment, accessories and fashions.

More than 20 education seminars will be held in the PGA Fall Expo Education Conference by recognized experts of The PGA of America and the Association of Golf Merchandisers. Topics addressed will include current industry issues, inventory management, merchandising, teaching, business management, player development and more.

The Moscone Convention Center will be the site of the San Francisco International Gift Fair August 8-11, 2009. This year’s event will feature a unique marketplace environment inspired by the colorful and diverse neighborhoods of San Francisco. Trade show displays and products will be showcased according to the style and flavor of the neighborhood it is presented in.
