The world’s largest purely civil aviation trade show will be held October 6-8 at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center and the Orlando Executive Airport as part of the NBAA 61st Annual Meeting and Convention. Last year’s convention ranked 8th among U.S. trade shows. NBAA2008 is expected to draw more than 30,000 attendees from around the world with more than 1,000 exhibitors.

The Orange County Convention Center will host indoor trade show displays and information sessions while the Orlando Executive Airport will provide space for over 100 state-of-the-art aircraft for viewing.

The Opening General Session will feature leaders from industry and government including Civil Aviation Organization President Roberto Kobeh Gonzalez and famed political couple James Carville and Mary Matalin. Information sessions will begin immediately after.

The premier event on solar energy will be held at the San Diego Convention Center from October 13 through October 16, 2008 hosted by the Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA) and the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA). This international event is expected to draw more than 15,000 attendees representing about 70 countries.
